Hey SummitScene Snowriders:

If you're snowriding with us on Saturday, please read the following carefully; especially if the last thing you've read was the previous announcement ...

8:00 am+ >  VGSW Registration packs available at Vail Plaza, Umbria Ballroom.  Note: VGSW Registration is free.  Registering gets you some swag, with VGSW credentials that at least will get you 10% off your lunch bill on Saturday.

8:30 am>  For you early-rising Front Rangers or those staying in the area, my partner Jim and I will be meeting those who want "first chair" at the Lionshead gondola.  We'll be waiting in the public area by the ski racks, just across from the lift ticket windows.  Just remember "red, white and blue" ... Look for two red helmets; one white and one blue ski jacket.

10:00 am>  Everyone meets at the Lionshead gondola.  We'll be waiting in the public area by the ski racks, just across from the lift ticket windows.  Just remember "red, white and blue" ... Look for two red helmets; one white and one blue ski jacket.  Folks can snowride together based on skill, terrain, aggressiveness, conditions, etc.

12:30 pm>  Group lunch at the Eagle's Nest restaurant.  This is the official VGSW Saturday lunch spot, with a free, special live performance by the DJ who will be performing at the monster VGSW dance party Saturday night.  You can also meet Sirius Satellite's Derek Hartley from the Derek & Romaine show.  Your VGSW credentials get you 10% off your lunch bill.

1:30-4:00 pm>  More snowriding until the lifts close.

3:00-6:00 pm>  For those inclined to apres ski, meet for a VGSW+GLS apres ski at The Tap Room, 333 Bridge Street.  We'll have a small table set aside with GLS info for VGSW attendees to look over.

Obviously, with events of this type, everyone is free to snowride and participate in any of the day's events as you like.  For those only snowriding, our event ends at 4:00 pm when the lifts stop running.  For those interested in apres ski, our event ends at 6:00 pm at The Tap Room.

Note that VGSW has a wide selection of evening events, including dinners and a monster dance party - for those interested see their website at vailgayskiweek.com.

The Fine Print ... Helmets are strongly encouraged; and GLS (and yours truly) bear no liabilities, express or implied.  Transportation and ALL expenses for the day are your responsibility.
